Decided to use a leftover dash trim to practice application. The only way to know if I’ve done a good job with vinyl application is to wait. If there’s any peeling, it means I didn’t either prepare the surface properly or activated the adhesive properly (they activate between 80 and 90 degrees, but I’m using a cheapo adjustable heat gun). I should get an infrared thermometer to properly check.... Hmmm!
What do you think?

You wrapped the upper bar bronze?
If so I think it turned out great, nice smooth finish with no wrinkles or bubbles. We might need more context though to really know

I think it’s much more interesting for us if you use substandard equipment and slap dash procedures and then cross your fingers.

That looks good. Personally, I’m kinda lazy, and always just used automotive spray paint ;)

Main issue is seeing how long the adhesion lasts. Avery wrap’s adhesive activates at 80 to 90 degrees Celsius, and I have no infrared thermometer to help with the process. So I’m literally working blind. lol
I do like the bronze color, though...
